There is so much noise in the world today. We listen to thethere TV, to our friends and family, to our pets and to music. But how often do you listen to your body, I mean really listen. I believe is people were more attentive to what their bodies are telling them, there would be less ER visits.
If you wake up and are light headed, get dizzy when standing up, there may be blood pressure issues. Are you sufficiently hydrated, are you breathing deeply. Have you noticed that when you go too long between means, you may have a tendency to go to something that will quickly raise your blood sugar level. As you sit there eating chips compulsively, think, does my body feel good. People with weight issues are likely to grab for a quick, high caloric snack when hungry. If you think there is something wrong with your body, there probably is and the longer you put off looking into it, the worse the outcome.
And there are things that may be going on with you psychologically that you deny or try to avoid. Have you been irritable lately, quick to anger. The reason is probably not the minor thing wrong your kifs or partner has done. There is probably something that you are struggling with that you may not be ready to deal with.
I have trouble driving at night so I try to work around it. There are days I just don’t feel 100% so I avoid pushing myself.
People at times engage in self harm behaviors without even realizing this is occurring. Substance abuse, while satisfying an immediate need, is essentially self harm behavior.
If you take care of your body and mind, they will take care of you.
