In recent months there have been 8 brutal rapes and murders of women. While this may be due to a serial killer, it reflects a serious underlying problem in the country. Violence against women has dramatically increased in the past 6 months, prompting the government to tell women to confine their activities. Hello.
Why should women stay in their homes when the government refuses to act on this issue. Unfortunately this is not confined to South Africa, as times get tougher, women increasingly become victimized.
