MAY YOU STAY FOREVER YOUNG

Getting old reminds me of The Myth of Sisyphus, a book by Albert Camus. Sisyphus is fated to forever try to push a boulder up a mountain. We are constantly pushing that boulder which gets heavier every day. The realities of physical declines cannot be denied.

However you can still keep your mind young. Stay curious, if you wonder about something, research it. I recently moved to a home that borders a lake and have enjoyed watching the turtles in the water and learning about turtles. They are very fascinating; they love eating berries and have exceptional abilities to negotiate space.

READ READ READ books give you a window into another world. Travel, it lets you experience another culture – food, architecture and natural habitat. I have been to Peru, Thailand and Cambodia in recent years and loved it. Even if you cannot travel outside your country, there are many things to explore close to your home. Try to interact with people of all ages – children are such a joy and the elderly have wisdom to share.
