seniors aging gracefully

When I was younger there was a song on the radio that said, “I do believe we’re on the brink of destruction.”

that was before

AI was developed that appears to have to potential to destroy humanity

the effects of climate change can no longer be denied and has resulted in much cost to human life and the planet’s survival

before the US became engage in what may become the next world war

before there was an individual with brain based deficits in his capacity to feel empathy controlled the bulk of the wealth on the planet

the life expectancy has notably dropped

Should one despair, book a ticket to Mars

well I do believe in evolution, in the capacity to adapt to one’s changing environment

there will be some people who will figure out how to keep their body healthy, how to limit the impact of AI, how to survive

but unfortunately I believe that in the coming years we will witness much death and destruction
