Many people have dire predictions for the future. The Bible addresses this in the writings about end times. And many writers have also weighed in – 1984, animal farm and king’s the stand. And there are films such as Mad Max, a clockwork orange and a boy and his dog, all depict a sad future

One must be living under a rock to not be aware of the various assaults on one’s survival these days – fires out of control, floods, extreme heat and viruses. Clearly many people will not make it especially those living in third world countries. So in 50 years will the only living things left on this planet be roaches and whales, I don’t know.

I believe humans are capable of adapting. Our body’s immune system often find a way to combat viruses as many survived after COVID exposure. Still I believe we are going to face some very difficult times. Given this, it is crucial to be healthy, to plan ahead and to do what you can to address these concerns with your local politicians.
