Too many people are being scammed/ hacked these days. Here is my experience. After switching cell phone provider, I quickly began having problems making calls. I repeated reached out to my provider, which involved being transferred to tech support. Various solutions were attempted; all did not work. Finally I reached someone who knew what was going on. He told me to go to my apps and realized that I had about 100% more apps than is typically, which surprised me since I rarely install apps. Turns out there were many apps installed by google that I had no idea about. I quickly deleted these apps and eventually the issue was resolved.
People are scammed in many ways. I recently realized that people often scam others who are on dating sites. And scams happened often on facebook. I was looking at the posts on a facebook friend’s page and was struck by a friend request he had received by a woman who apparently lived 2000 miles away and was like 40 years younger than him. So I went to her profile, very suspicious. She was an oriental woman with very large breasts, not typically. I concluded that she was either a hooker or a scammer.
If someone asks for your bank inf, beware. If someone tells you to go to a bitcoin ATM, beware. It helps to change your passwords routinely and to check your security settings.
