I have often thought of this line when faced with difficulties in my life. Of course there is the lay philosopher line ” shit happens” which also helps me let go of dwelling on the thought, why me, or as they say in Philly, “forget about it.”
I suspect ever since the dawn of mankind there have been philosophers who help people understand the important questions in life such as is there a higher power, why is there suffering, what is the meaning of life.
