seniors aging gracefully

Years ago scientist used to speak about global warming and its possible devasting consequences for the planet. This notion was attacked by people, especially the oil industry which clearly will be economically impacted if this theory is translated into laws that regulate that inductry.

Now we speak about climate change. But whatever you call it, it is real and has occurred far faster than scientists have predicted. We are now dealing with forests burning out of control, heat warnings occurring almost daily, floods and famine.

One cannot fail to be moved my the stories on the news about everyday people whose lives are devastated by these weather events.

I believe there is hope. There are more people speaking out and more laws are being enacted to address these weather issues

I suspect that it will take quite some time to reverse the effects of climate change. I hope I can see it in my lifetime.
