I recently saw this film again and again I was left thinking, what an amazing and accurate depiction of mental illness and the fact that there is a fine line between genius and insanity

Nash’s research led to a Noble Prize and later influenced a wide range of areas including economics and theories of biological evolution

Not everyone with schizophrenia has delusions. As depicted in the film, delusions are hard to treat and often are not cured by taking psych meds.

The best way to handle delusions is how Nash coped. He realized that while the imaginary people that controlled his thought processes may always be there but he was able to choice to ignore them.
